Using Metaphorical Associative Cards in Therapy

Metaphorical associative cards can be a powerful tool for self-exploration, reflection, and communication. These cards typically feature images, symbols, or words that can evoke emotions, memories, or insights. During this workshop we will learn how to incorporate metaphorical associative cards in your work with clients using sets of OH cards. The workshop will include an introduction, a demonstration and experiential with workshop attendees, and a debrief.

Learning Objectives: 1. Practice the “doing” skill of inviting the client to introspect and illuminate the process while integrating metaphorical associative cards in therapy
2. Experiment with the adaptability of metaphorical associative cards with different age groups and cultural backgrounds
